Impact of Inter-territorial Cohesion on the Development of Regional Economic Spaces

Spatial organisation of the regional economy and spatial development Russia have been actively discussed in academic community. However, this discussion did not resolve issues concerning characteristics economic systems impact inter-territorial cohesion on space. The study examines intra-regional spaces as interdependence growth parameters observed municipalities. Additionally, types differently affecting various local zones are identified. Assessment based data from municipalities single-industry regions (Krasnoyarsk krai, Vologda, Lipetsk Chelyabinsk oblasts) for period 2017–2019 revealed three territories. First characterised by interdependent growth, positive agglomeration effects ability to integrate into value chains. Territories known passionate development, producing independent able strengthen their own opportunities absorb neighbouring potential. Sub-passionate is characteristic that, despite production dynamics territories, cannot produce growth; relations with other municipal formations insufficient. research results show that demonstrate higher rates real volume produced shipped goods investment. Such indicate current leading positions these well availability sustainable progressive development. Based comparative analysis different regions, distinguish passionate, mutually reinforcing mixed models agglomerated spaces.
